I purchased a Parker TomaHawk Crossbow this year using Rage 2-blade(non-crossbow). This is the 1st year Indiana opened crossbow season for everyone. I hunted hard this past weekend. It seems like the rut is kicking in. Sunday morning I shot the 120lb. Doe 1st @ 9:00 a.m. @ 20yds. Then I saw a small 6 & spike bucks next. After 30 minutes this 6 point showed up. I past on him the 1st time I seen him thinking it was one of the other bucks I seen earlier. But as he walked down to my doe I noticed he was a different buck. One that I would be happy with. So, I grunted & doe bleated at it while he rubbed a tree and put a scrape down by my doe. His head went straight up and looked towards me. He ended up coming in at 30yds broadside. I shot him as well. He ran about 70yds and piled up. I shot 2 in one morning. It was a great feeling and alot of work ahead. It was a main-frame 8 that sported 6 points field dressed at 170lb.
