Robin Crusat

I recently harvested this Black Hawaiian on a trip to California on July 06, 2012.

I was shooting a Parker Phoenix with a draw weight of 45 # and Goldtip carbon arrows tipped with muzzy 100 gr 3 blades. I shot the Black Hawaiian ram at 20 yards in the neck and jugular as this was the only shot presented to me at this time. The Ram was watching during the entire stalk.

We were hunting on Big Horn Canyon Ranch, in Moreno Valley area which I would recommend to all hunters. My brother and I are avid bow hunters and use the Parker bows which are very easy to pull. I also have a Parker Legend and it is 43 # which I also hunt with in Hawaii.
