This Sika was taken with a Parker Hunter Mag.


Back in January of 2007, I had the privilege of going on a Wheelin Sportsman Hunt in Maryland. It was on Assateague Island National Park. I got this nice Sika Hind just about 45 minutes before the light faded. This was the first bow hunt I had been on since my accident in 2004. As a result of this accident, I had to have my leg amputated in 2006, due to infections and such. But, the only thing I had on my mind after I got back on my feet, or foot (lol!!) was shooting my Parker Hunter Mag in preparation for the Sika hunt. Felt good to get back in the saddle so to speak!!! My bow performed flawlessly and I was the only disabled hunter to take one with a bow! Recently I bought a new BlackHawk. Wow, can't wait to hunt with it. By the way, my Hunter Mag still lives on, my buddy owns it now and couldn't be happier with it!! Just goes to show, old Parkers don't retire!!!!
