To the greatest engineers in the bow manufacturing field,
My name is Steve Stanec, I am from Medina, OH and you won't believe what happened. On Thursday, Oct. 2 of this year, it was my first day of this whitetail season, I was excited and thriled to be back in the woods once again. After still hunting for a couple hours, My first chance at a nice looking doe presented itself and I jumped at the chance to fill one of my tags on the first day, get some meat in the freezer, and enjoy the rest of the season hunting for a nice looking rack. After missing the first shot, the second one flew true and did its job. Once all the "dirty work" was done, I went to retrieve my Parker Wildfire XP from where I had laid it, only shocked to see that in all my excitement, my father-in-law had ran over it with his tractor that he had brought to help get the deer from the field. After the initial shock that the awesome bow that I had purchased last year might be nothing more than scrap aluminum now, I drew it back and was relieved that it didn't crumble in my hand. After further examination, it appeared as though the only damage was that my Tru-Glo sight, Ultra-Rest and quiver were the only items that seemed to be harmed. My quiver and the two arrows that were in it were destroyed. The sight was bent slightly and the rest was pushed out of alignment. After a couple of days, I finally got the chance to see what I could do to salvage what I thought was a last ditch effort to save my season. I squared up the rest, I realigned the sight, and with my fingers crossed and my eyes half-way closed, I let my first arrow fly since the incident. To my disbelief, everything went just as it had before the accident. After about a dozen or so arrows, I had it sighted back in and now its ready to go. If you would have told me when I bought it, that it could get ran over by a tractor and still shoot true, I would have told you to pound sand, but its true. You all have designed a bow that is truly "hunter proof". I want to thank you, you saved my day, my season, and my bank account. Keep up the good work, because of you, I will always own a Parker.
Thank you,
Steve Stanec Medina, OH (10/05/08) |
