Hello Parker Bows;

Last Christmas I bought my 10 year old son, Luke, a Parker SideKick youth model bow. He’s worked very hard this summer practicing in the 10 – 20 yard range in the hopes of shooting his first deer with a bow and arrow. Several days ago we took advantage of Michigan’s antlerless season and sat in a double tree stand together for an evening hunt. An hour or so into the hunt, a small yearling made an appearance. After fifteen agonizing minutes, the small deer finally presented a 20 yard broadside shot. With little hesitation, he went to full draw and made a clean pass through at 20 yards. The shot placement was perfect and the deer only managed to scamper 40 yards or so before it went down.

Attached are a few pictures of Luke with his prize. He’s shot other, much larger deer, with a shotgun but claims he is the most proud of this deer.
