Eric Hinds

To the whole Parker Staff,
I am a wounded soldier that was medevaced out of Iraq last year after sustaining an injury to my left eye that is now unfixable after 3 surguries. I have recently been medically discharged from the Army and with some luck transferring into a civilian job soon. I have always been deployed during hunting season for trianing or to the big sand box of Iraq, so I Just wanted to tell you about a hunt of a life time that I was able to pull off this past year while recovering from my injury. It took a long time to learn to shoot with only one good eye (the bad eye that I see double out of made shooting a bow and zeroing in on targets extremely difficult and has caused many migrane type headaches due to the difference in vision between my 2 eyes). I will admit that I fell prey to purchasing a fast cheap Cheetah bow from Martin Archery ($350) just before the season started, and have had nothing but problems with it (Strings frayed after 100 shots and were replaced, and the upper limb cracked while drawing back on a doe which they replaced as well) needless to say I have not shot it since everything was replaced due to a fear of what will happen next with it. Anyways, I had to fall back on my old trusty and extremely reliable 6 year old Parker Phoenix EZ Draw, which I had retired do to it being rather old, in order to get the job done. I have never shot a whitetail buck large enough to call a trophy, but admidst all the crazy medical problems and strange bow circumstances I shot the biggest buck of my life this past season. I am just wanting to say thank you for making in my opinion the most reliable bows I have ever seen and owned, if it was not for your product my hunting season would have been a bust. I have learned a valuable lesson this season and I will never buy anything other than a Parker from now on, and have been trying to convince my fellow archers to buy one as well. Once I save up enough money I will finally upgrade my old Phoenix EZ Draw to one of your newer mid price faster bows, so I never have another bow issue again. Thank you for everything your company does to continually produce top notch equipment, I am attaching a picture of my "miracle buck" for you to see as well. Please pass this on to your Co-Workers so they all can hear my story and I can say thank you to the whole staff.

Sincerely,

Eric Hinds
