My name is Jason Cavin. My son, Collin Cavin, age 10, shot his first deer last fall on September 15, 2007 at 4:15 pm. We were hunting on a friends property in Bethpage, TN. The buck walked in from about 100 yds out and ended up standing broadside at 25 yds when Collin shot him. He made an excellent shot, and the buck dropped right in his tracks. I have attached a photo of my son and his deer. The picture says everything. He was so excited. I thought we may be able to sit for a little longer to see if anything else may come in, but I believe all the high five's and excitement spooked anything in about a 2 mile radius ;).
