I have been married for over 25 years and am the proud father of two teenagers, Brianna and Adam. They both have grown into avid outdoors people. I have been involved in archery from the time I was old enough to hold up a bow without letting the lower limb touch the ground. I would watch my older brothers shoot and just knew that I could be better than them, so I would shoot everyday after school until I was better.

My two older brothers were good hunters by the time I was old enough to hunt. Luckily, they would take me into the woods with them and taught me the fine art of archery and woodsmanship. I read everything I could, watched all the outdoor shows and became a pretty good hunter.

Nine years ago I started an archery league at my kids’ elementary school and to this day you have to sign up the first day in order to get a spot in the league of 40 children. Now I want to focus on helping others, both young and old, learn from my experiences, both good and bad.
