A fast friendship developed when recent High School graduates, Todd Reed and Kevin
Harris, met at church several years ago. The friendship led to a shared vision and commitment to opening what was to become known as their “ultimate outdoor store.”

Humble beginnings for the dream began in a 1400 sq ft storefront in 1994. Full of optimism
and enthusiasm, they pressed forward, learning as they went. Both are quick to tell you they
couldn’t have succeeded only on their own skills. Their strong spiritual faith, support of
family, friends, and loyal customers has helped them and the business to grow and prosper.

By 1997 a move to a 5200 sq ft location was required. Most recently (2007) they moved into
a new 18,000 sq ft foot mall, which they designed, built, own, operate, and that will house as
many as five storefronts. They occupy 10,000 sq ft, with archery, guns, paintball, fishing,
clothing, boots, etc.

A well-stocked Archery Department includes various high-tech and traditional bows, arrows,
and a vast array of archery accessories. Parker Compound Bows products are highlighted in
an area referred to as “a store within a store” that readily displays the majority of Parker items
currently available. A full-time, factory trained, bow technician is on duty most days.


Nestled in the Shenandoah Valley, in view of two mountain ranges, Dominion Oudoors
rugged, natural wood exterior, exemplifies the outdoorsman’s experience. The store
has broad-based appeal (and services) for hunters and fisherman alike, as well as
purposely promoting a family friendly environment.



For archer/hunters there is always a variety of name brand, quality bows and
crossbows.

They provide personalized bow tuning and set-up by a factory trained bow technician.
Examples of other archery related services include:

String and cable replacement

Paper tuning

Arrow cut-off and fletching

Proper arrow selection

Bow selection and fit

Assistance in selecting proper hunting boots, clothing, treestands, blinds, sights,
quivers, arrowrests, broadheads, etc, is only your request away.

Gun enthusiasts may select from literally hundreds of in-stock firearms. Services in
this department include:

Gunsmith

Swivel/stud installation

Gun cleaning

Scope mounting

Bore sighting

For those recreational shooters that prefer something a bit more tame (like paintball)
they carry a full line of supplies, CO2 tank filling, and “safe use” instruction.

Fisherman will find most anything they need, from trout fishing tackle to light saltwater
gear. As you might expect, where fisherman gather, tall tales (and free advice) will
abound.

While you’re visiting, don’t forget to purchase the necessary State and Federal
licenses and permits.

An exciting addition to their services will be an “on-line, shopping cart, website.”
August 2008 is the anticipated time-frame for its unveiling.
